The North Carolina Association on Aging (NCAoA) was established in the early 1980's with a three-fold purpose:
Members of this non-profit association include health and social professionals and organizations that are typically considered to be part of the Aging Network. These include local councils and departments on aging, senior centers, area agencies on aging, adult day care centers, adult social services and health departments, and other providers of home and community-based services.
