Overview of the Aging Network

 

The passage of the Older Americans Act of 1965, along with subsequent amendments, created a significant partnership arrangement between the federal, state and local levels of government dealing with aging issues. Programs and services responsive to the needs of older adults became associated with a structure commonly referred to as the Aging Network.

Nationwide:

In North Carolina:
