The development of a website typically involves a collaborative effort. Individuals and groups offer insight, information, and support to varying degrees. Triangle J Area Agency on Aging would like to thank all those who support our work and who had a part in the design and/or development of this website.

First and foremost is the complete support that our TJCOG Executive Director offers. He is always available and he carries forth our mission, as appropriate, with his contemporaries and local government. Without his vision, our work would not be as effective. Thank you!

Our TJAAA Executive Director works diligently to offer the community quality service in a variety of ways. The TJAAA website is one component of that effort. Her support and promotion is invaluable. Thank you!

Our Ombudsmen, Caregiver Specialist, and Aging Program Administrator are all part of the TJAAA team and support our effort to offer a quality website that will be useful to older adults and their families, aging services providers, and the community at large including local university students. Thank you!

The NC Division of Aging and Adult Services guides our work through their comprehensive statewide aging plan. They offer support and promotion of our efforts at every level. The state Caregiver Specialist and the newly appointed (2006) Director were instrumental in the development of our sister site, the Full Circle of Care Caregiver Website. They promote the site at national conferences, on their website, and in numerous meetings with state leaders. Thank you!

Without the TJCOG MIS/GIS (Management Information System and Geographic Information System) group, our AAA websites would not be a reality. The supervisor and the graphics and website expert, offer a variety of levels of support. They are the reason that TJAAA is able to offer you timely updating and the reason we are able to address ever changing needs and information online quickly and accurately. They are also the first ones we turn to when there is a technical issue. Help with the homepage graphics was very appreciated. Thank you!

Sometimes, the need for technical expertise, becomes apparent to be able to offer the vision of an idea. For this AAA website, our thanks go to website consultants Jeff Essic and his wife Karen. They worked hard to give the homepage it's look. Thank you!

Without pictures, websites just aren't as interesting. Pictures of people remind us that throughout the information offered runs the underlying theme of helping, supporting, and empowering people. Since TJAAA serves older adults first and foremost, we needed pictures of active and engaged older adults. Resources for Seniors' Senior Center Director was instrumental in arranging for us to take those pictures. The willing participants of the Senior Centers made it possible. Their smiling faces are the ones you see inviting you to join them at a senior center near you. Thank you!

Throughout the site, there are other pictures. Many are of the facilities where services are offered such as senior centers, nutrition sites, adult day care centers, and adult day health centers. We felt that if an older adult was able to see a center, he or she might feel more comfortable visiting and participating in what is offered. Various local aging services providers in Region J provided us with pictures of the facilities they use. Thank you!

And, last but certainly not least, are the older adults and family caregivers we serve. We are honored to have the opportunity to offer you information and opportunities that have the potential to make your life better and to allow you to live in your own home, safely and with dignity, for as long as possible. Thank you for visiting TJAAA's two websites!

Happy Seniors!

Thanks!
