This hotline provides information about shelters, road conditions, emergency assistance and food kitchens.

Call this number to register for financial assistance for individuals, families and businesses affected by the hurricane. Aid is available for individuals and businesses in counties that have been declared "disaster areas" and those whose insurance will not cover damages caused by the hurricane. An application must be completed to receive assistance.

Please remember that these numbers may change from disaster to disaster. Local media will have the most recent numbers (though most agencies try to keep the same numbers). Also remember that phone service may be limited and relief workers will be working diligently to assist everyone that needs assistance. Those with the most dire needs will be given priority. Please be patient and treat those trying to help with respect.
