Not all counties offer the same services or the same level of services.  Each county decides what services will be funded with the available money.  All Triangle J Area Agency on Aging funded services are offered on a voluntary contribution basis.  Use the links in the navigation bar to find out what is available in your county.

It is also important to note that some agencies funded by Triangle J provide additional non-Home and Community Care Block Grant funded services.  Be sure to ask about what you need.  Talk to an Information and Referral Specialist to find out if what you need is available within your county.

Direct services for older adults and their caregivers are provided by local, county-based aging services providers through grant agreements between Triangle J Area Agency on Aging and the individual counties.

Services offered and providers of the services are decided by members of the Home and Community Care Block Grant Committees. The services identified in this section are those funded through the Home and Community Care Block grant, with a few exceptions.

Local aging services providers may provide other services and other local agencies may also provide services for older adults.

If a needed service is not identified in this section, check with your local aging services provider. The service may be available. You can also explore the service descriptions on our homepage to find more local resources in our community.
