Meals on Wheels of Wake County

The mission of Meals on Wheels of Wake County is "to provide nutritious meals to the frail, homebound elderly and persons with disabilities of Wake County in order to improve health, reduce isolation and prevent inappropriate institutionalization." They also operate congregate nutrition sites in various locations throughout the county in conjunction with Resources for Seniors.  Services are intended for low-income and minority populations and those who may be socially and/or physically disadvantaged.
